Skookum Rotary Foundation Members Vote to Contribute to YMCA
A Special Meeting of the Skookum Foundation was called to consider recommendations for a contribution to Shelton's YMCA Capital Project.  We are please to announce that the Foundation membership has agreed to contribute $100,000 over five (5) years to this important community project.  Pictured is Foundation Chair, Jim Morrell describing potential available funding for the contribution.

Students from Shelton School District presented activities and projects from their respective club and interest groups.  The program included 2 presentations: one from Shelton High School's Interact Club, and one from CHOICE High School's CAP21 program. Thank you Grace, Chris and Kameron for your updates!

Heidi Schaiberger from LifeNet Health. She presented information on the importance of being an organ, eye and tissue donor and the impact of our participation. Visit lifenethealth.org for more information.

Jerry Obendorf, a Charter Member of Skookum Rotary Celebrated the Anniversary of the club that started in 1976.  Jerry used the analogy of a car windscreen and mirror to relate the past to a potential future for the club.  Thanks Jerry and Jill Himlie for a great anniversary event!
