Turning Pointe In-Meeting Donation Project
Skookum Members donated everyday items that can be used by Turning Pointe families  including clothing, hygiene, children's books etc.  Members organized items, signed books and cards and prepared them for delivery to Turning Pointe.  Executive Director, Gina Blanchard Reed presented some recent client stories and accepted a Skookum Rotary Community Grant to Adopt A Room
 
 
 
Lori Wickett Paul Harris Recognition
Lori, a longtime Skookum Rotarian volunteer, was recognized for her efforts with a Paul Harris Fellow Recognition Award.  Lori helps in many projects including OysterFest, Science Fair, 4th Grade Dictionaries, The Giving Tree and other activities.
 
 
Gift for Special Children
Melanie Lankford spoke to Skookum Rotarians about  how her program addresses needs for challenged children.  Skookum Rotary provided a $1,000 grant to the program for families in need.
 
Cross Roads Receive Skookum Community Grant.
Tanya Frazier accepts a Community Grant from Skookum Rotary to build a playground at their location.  Pictured are Youth Services Director Denis Leverich, President Elect Brad Miller and Tanya Frazier.
 
 
2018-2019 District 5020 Youth Exchange Students
They are at the end of their twelve month stay with Canadian and US families and study in local high schools.  Each student is introduced and are shown here at the District Conference with their countries' flags. Ten (10) Skookum members attended the Conference.
