Skookum Rotary Summer ServiceOysterFest Dollars At Work!

Skookum Serves Child Care Action Council:

Thank you to Shelton Skookum Rotary Club Foundation for their $1,000 community grant for Child Care Action Council's Parents as Teachers and Kaleidoscope Play & Learn programs in Mason County!

Funds received from Shelton Skookum Rotary Club Foundation will go towards purchasing supplies for both programs held in Mason County and supporting a portion of the bilingual parent educator’s salary in each program. Both programs help parents build a support network and access services early on to reduce stressors, address challenges, and develop skills that will benefit them and their children far into future.

Without the support we get from community leaders like the members in Skookum Rotary Club of Shelton, WA we would not be able to make an impact on so many children’s lives. They are making a difference by ensuring that early learning opportunities continue to be available -- we thank them for their continued support of our programs!
