The Shelton High School Interact club connects with leaders in Mason County and around the world to:
  • Take action and make a difference in the school and community
  • Discover new cultures and promote international understanding
  • Become leaders in the school and community
  • Enjoy fun and make new friends from around the world
What’s involved?
An Interact club organizes at least two projects every year, one that helps school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Skookum Rotary sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.  Would your high school be interested in an Interact club?  Would you be interested in joining one?
The Shelton High School Interact club has organized food drives, helped local charity organizations in their work and in their fund raising efforts, raised money for disaster recovery efforts around the world through Rotary International and ShelterBox who provide emergency tents and immediate family survival essentials and tools.
OysterFest proceeds help our students celebrate the global impact of Interact by getting involved in:
  • World Interact Week
  • Interact Video Awards
  • Rotary Youth Day at the United Nations
  • Global Youth Service Day
